Organized First Hands on workshop on Facio-Maxillary Fracture management on 13-14^th February 2016 at the Learning Center NIMS. There were lectures followed by hands on experience on fracture fixation using Plates and Screws for the benefit of twin cities Plastic Surgery post graduate students of NIMS, Osmania & Gandhi Medical colleges without any registration fees. Dr. Kannan Balaraman from Ganaga Hospitals Coimbatore, was the Guest faculty and Dr. Manjeet Patil was the local faculty, Dr. Parvathi – Course Director. Course was sponsored by Ms Stryker.

CME on corrective surgery of the nose,2016

There were 3 guest lectures by Prof Rakesh Khazanchi from Medanta Hospitals Gurgaon, Dr D Mukunda Reddy from Indo-American cancer hospital and Dr V Sudhakar Prasad Apollo Hospitals,Hyderabad as part of a CME on Rhinoplasty organized by the department on 16^th July 2016
